As we approach the next elections, beware of the following misleading narratives and propaganda. DON’T BE FOOLED AGAIN:
1.“He/She is young, vibrant, and energetic, they will deliver.”
✅Reality check: Youth alone is not a qualification. Just look at John Paul Mwirigi and Linet Toto.
2.“He/She is rich and won’t steal.”
✅Reality check: Wealth doesn’t stop corruption remember Uhuru and the NYS scandal under Anne Waiguru (Minji Minji).
3.“He/She is one of us our son or daughter.”
✅Reality check: Nepotism and tribal loyalty have hurt us before, see Zakayo (, Uhuru, and the sacking of Prof. Airo at Moi University for “mtu wetu.”
4.“Let’s vote to punish someone else.”
✅Reality check: Revenge voting gave us Zakayo and Uhuru. Did it help?
5.“He/She is popular, don’t waste your vote on others.”
✅Reality check: Crowd-pulling isn’t leadership. Popularity gave us more of the same Zakayo, Uhuru, etc.
6.“He/She gives us money, unga, or lesos they care about us.”
✅Reality check: Handouts are not policies. See Injiniya Timber XO and Wamadimples.
7.“Only he/she can face the opponent they’re the strong one.”
✅Reality check: So-called strong candidates gave us Zakayo and Uhuru. Results?
8.“He/She is good-looking , vote for them.”
✅Reality check: Beauty is not governance. Wamadimples and Kimani Ichung’wah weren’t elected for brains.
9.“He/She speaks well and knows how to move crowds.”
✅Reality check: Eloquence is not delivery. We’ve been wowed before by Zakayo and Wamadimples and got nothing in return.
10.“He/She is poor, let’s uplift them and they’ll remember us.”
✅Reality check: Sympathy votes don’t equal service. Ask Linet Toto or John Paul Mwirigi.
Stop voting based on tribe, wealth, poverty, looks, charm, or generosity.
Vote based on MERIT, TRACK RECORD, and VISION. Kenya deserves better!
@OkiyaOmtatah LOWER OR STOP TAXATION ON OVERTIME. CITIZENS HAVING MORE DISPOSABLE INCOME DOESNT CAUSE INFLATION RATHER EXCESSIVE CORRUPTION AND UNNECCESARY GOVT SPENDING DOES.
@MaryK2022@OkiyaOmtatah we need to stop this nonsense of taxing 30% on overtime or benefits. It corrodes the essence of extra effort and Kenyan spirit of doing more @OkiyaOmtatah
This man knows the market:
He has predicted:
1. The Dot-Com Bubble (2000)
2. The Global Financial Crisis (2008)
3. Japan's Asset Bubble (1989)
4. The COVID Bubble (2021-2022)
