When Trump got elected both times:
-There was no ID requirement.
-No proof of citizenship requirement.
-In both elections approximately 30% of voters used paper-ballots.
-We had the same rounding errors as always.
MAGA did not declare the election fraudulent.
They said, "The elections were fair and amazing. Trump is our amazing legitimate President. We don't need to do the elections over. No ID is required. And paper-ballots worked great."
For once, I agree with MAGA. We don't need the disastrous Save America Act. MAGA has certified the election results without it.
TWICE.
@LucasSa56947288 This is a false equivalency that these republicans continue to use constantly. The SAVE Act doesn’t include a simple driver’s license - it requires that the name match the name on your birth certificate.
@DougWahl1 I get that people want Governor Beshear to hurry with this but it is highly unlikely that the Senate will seat a Democrat - especially since there is a question if the governor can make the appointment.
@stealthygeek It is unlikely that the Senate will seat a Democrat that he appoints due to the law that was passed several years ago. Right now this leaves the Republicans one vote short.
The minimum wage should be set at a level that covers rent, food, healthcare, your children’s education, and transportation. If it doesn’t, it isn’t a decent wage. And I’m not going to debate that with anyone.
Capitalism sells us freedom’ but delivers rent, debt, and burnout. Class consciousness hits when you realize your exhaustion isn’t personal failure it’s by design The ruling class profits off your despair Time to flip the script.
We have the means to provide everyone with housing, healthcare, childcare and basic income.
Suffering is a policy choice.
Those in power would rather hoard the wealth than see everyone equally provided for.
If everyone had their basic needs met, the world would change.
