Love using District Bellwork problems to start off our day! These story problems promote thoughtful math discourse! Look at all the ways our class solved the same problem!
Bringing out all the positive behavior games and rewards to focus on the good behaviors seen from SS that are working hard and following the Four B’s!!

Not having outdoor recess for the last few weeks is making us a little stir crazy🤪 we got up and moving today during math with some fun and engaging rotations!! #skiballmath#gallerywalk#seesaw
First circle time was a huge hit in Room 12! Ss wrote down topics and questions that they want to discuss this semester during our class conversations! #community#restorativepractices
We are setting goals and achieving them in Room 12!! It’s awesome to see how excited and driven Ss are to work hard to reach their #goals🎯 #hardwork#BelieveItAchieveIt
To extend our leaning of number patterns, Ss used #mathtalk to defend their answers and give their reasoning! It was so great to hear them explain their thinking ! 📝✖️➗➖➕ #communication#criticalthinking
Thanks @MsBarry24 for this super fun way to check for understanding! Ss loved “tweeting” their responses to my exit ticket! Also enjoying the sense of community we are building with our own classroom hashtag #Room12
If you haven't gotten the chance to use Seesaw in your classroom here is a quick tutorial on a few of the things this AWESOME tool has to offer! #tldeuno2018

Loved sharing @Seesaw with the @OPS_Kellom#AllStar Ts. Teachers were jumping for joy at all the amazingness it has to offer and can’t wait to get started in the classroom! Thanks @KinsellaMs for presenting with me! I think we ignited a spark in the building! #seesawchat
Paper pencil reading quizzes every Friday were getting quite #dull ✏️ We completed a comprehension gallery walk for this weeks story followed by a little writing about reading ➕ it wouldn’t be #flipgridFriday w/o a @Flipgrid response 🤗
After working in notebooks and on our desks we got out of our seats and worked with our peers to answer division problems! It was so fun to hear the conversations and #thinking that was going on! #collaboration 🧠
