MEN be informed that there comes a time when you reach a certain age, you become irrelevant to your core family. No matter how much you've sacrificed for your kids, they will always choose their mother over you. That's the sad reality of life as a boychild, even in death, it's normal for a woman to be a widow but very abnormal for a man to be a widower.
Infact, if your wife happens to breath her last today, your children will automatically consider themselves orphans, it's just that they can't tell you in your face. They will forever mourn their mother but if you die today, as man you'll be forgotten within months.
Visit any hospital today & go through the men's wards- Total alienation; they hardly get any visitors especially if the old man has distributed his wealth.
So Gentlemen, even as you provide & take good care of your family, remember to set aside an investment that will take care of you when nature decides to take a toll on you bcoz you'll be left alone, treated as a distanced relative by your own kids.
Ageing is unavoidable & catches everyone unaware, truly we should prepare ourselves financially & psychologically and pray to God to help & guide us as we go through that dark stage of being neglected.
Health and peace of mind are very vital at old age for men, when you see Old men like Oparanya & Atwoli bagging themselves women young enough to be their daughters, it's bcoz they're going through that phase, that's why I'm emphasizing that old age should find you when you have accumulated enough wealth. Even as you go through that stage, remember being Alone is not Lonely.
There is strength in being alone, a real man stand alone, even the sun shines alone, the moon and the stars shine at night but they are using the light of the sun. Blessings come from the man, so you should be proud to be a man.
