On the occasion of Earth Day, the School of Earth Sciences organized a week-long celebration (14–21 April 2026) with engaging activities aligned with the theme “Save Power, Save Planet.”
Through initiatives like Eco Hunt, Eco Dumb Charades, Water Drop Race, Plastic Bottle Drive, Electricity Awareness Campaign and interactive sessions with KV students, the School was actively involved in spreading awareness among students, shopkeepers and the community.

Guided by the visionary leadership of Prof. Anand Bhalerao, Central University of Rajasthan has signed an MoU with Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) today to collaborate in biodiversity conservation, research, training and academic exchange.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Kishore Rithe, Director, BNHS, marking a significant milestone for both institutions.
Blending BNHS’s 143 years of expertise with CURAJ’s strong academic and research ecosystem, this partnership will advance joint research, field initiatives, capacity building and knowledge sharing- contributing meaningfully to India’s environmental sustainability goals.

@prashant_lmp @DudhwaTR @UpforestUp @moefcc States must come down seriously and urgently on this issue.Vultures are already in crisis and some states are doing their best to restore their populations. If we continue loosing them like this, it will take no time to finish the species. BNHS is ready to work with the states.
