🇳🇱🇿🇼Our joint field mission with @NLinZimbabwe Acting Ambassador HE IIyaas Sherally proved that strong partnerships drive lasting community transformation in Zimbabwe under the @UNFPA_SYP program.

Engaging with a traditional leader championing the 'Not In My Village Campaign' underscored the vital role chiefs play in ending child marriage, preventing adolescent pregnancies, and safeguarding girls' rights.

During the visit to the Youth-Friendly Health Facility, the mission observed how adolescents access SRH services in a safe, non-judgmental space. Additionally, the mission reviewed the expansion of the Self-Care Model, which empowers young people by increasing access to HIV services, essential healthcare, and lifesaving gender-based violence services and information.

Our investments in community leadership and youth-centred services empower young people to thrive in healthier, more resilient communities.

Together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands we are delivering health, dignity, and opportunity for all.

With women, adolescent girls, and children making up approximately 70% of those returning, our Joint UN Sectoral Response Mission is focused on ensuring their return is defined by dignity and protection.

This is when a woman ends up leaking faeces or urine after childbirth due to prolonged and obstructed labour without timely, quality medical care

Treatment is available, and many women can be fully healed through surgical repair and post-treatment care.
