If there was any doubt that Gov Jared Polis’ legacy is freeing Tina Peters, the NYT reports Polis just fired the clemency board members who revealed he overruled their unanimous wishes https://t.co/br5hwsDrYq
America’s unions mourn the senseless killing by federal agents of our @AFGEnational Local 3669 union brother and VA nurse Alex Jeffrey Pretti.
We reiterate our call for ICE to immediately leave Minnesota before anyone else is hurt or killed.

I’m running for U.S. Senate so the people who built Colorado can take back control of our healthcare, our homes, and our futures.
Working people built Colorado, we deserve a government that finally works for us.

NEW: RFK Jr's purge of CDC leadership isn't shaking Democratic Gov Jared Polis' enthusiastic support of Kennedy to lead America's health policy. Today, Polis praised his collaboration with Kennedy, saying "We hope to work on making America healthier." #copolitics
Wednesday, a fiscal note was released on the CO AI Sunshine Act SB25B-004 claiming the state needs $7 million to implement. Q: Anybody know how the state is using AI to impact people’s lives? The leg. doesn’t! #CoLeg
A new report finds that the biggest 100 companies in America who pay the lowest wages to workers – companies like Walmart, Amazon, and Chipotle – have CEOs making 632 times as much as the average median worker pay.
Imagine spending one of the hottest days of the year cooped up with people you don't like in a building without AC while you try to solve a difficult problem. Welcome to Colorado's special session of the state legislature. #copolitics
Workers across Colorado showed up, spoke out, and passed the Worker Protection Act through the legislature. It’s backed by the public. It’s the right thing to do. It’s time for Governor Polis to sign it into law.
@xfinity is my living hell. My account is connected to an old one, but I can’t talk to an actual person I have to chat with someone or something. I’ve been back and forth for 30 minutes and keep getting the same prompts. I can’t even figure out how to cancel my god damn service!
@chrisvanderveen This kind of employer retaliation is happening all over Colorado except most employees can’t afford a federal civil rights attorney - check out SB23-111.
🧵1/ Earlier this week I called out a Denver mayoral candidate for announcing he would “plow the damn roads.” While we can ignore the pandering to voters, we should not ignore the challenges & policy consequences of this proposal. This is a long thread. Please settle in.
@KULR Xanterra (a private company) should have taken care of their employees and the park would not be so understaffed. Instead, profits over people. #Yellowstone
@KULR Here in Mammoth Hot Springs. Xanterra laid off all their staff after the flood - paying them nothing. No staff here now. No services except gas station.
@DJFriednash Yeah, this is kind of you. Sycophant who is incredibly out of touch with the needs of Colorado. Enjoy Texas while the rest of us are appalled by it.
Sen. Bennet is right! I've been doing Colorado's vote-by-mail system for nearly 10 years, & never want to go back to the old ways. Haven't stood in a voting line since then, I can research issues at home, and we can still vote in person if we want - but why?
