Sooo grateful to score a seat again in an #ITIL4 Train the Trainer class in Washington DC. This time we learned deliver the #ManagingProfessionalTransition course that fast-tracks people with 17 #ITIL credits to the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation. I am re-energized!

@Aks_Sh @AXELOS_GBP Until we can figure that out (and my video publisher @PearsonITCert has been trying for a very long time), I am unfortunately dead in the water.

We naturally want to do everything legally and in full compliance; there's just no way to accommodate our unique video situation.☹️

@Aks_Sh @AXELOS_GBP Axelos' rule (requiring all training to include exams) is a well-meaning rule that is great for the ITIL community, but sadly it impacts me very directly. Even though I am fully accredited, our video resellers are simply resellers; there's no way to accredit them to sell exams.

@realKeithPotts @BrightTALK @erikaflora @Beyond20 We still encourage people to take V3/2011 Intermediates and ITIL Practitioner-- they count towards the ITIL 4 Managing Professional cert.

Have no fear-- your knowledge, prep, and investment are valuable and applicable in ITIL 4. 👍

@realKeithPotts @BrightTALK @erikaflora @Beyond20 Nope! The ITIL V3/2011 is still alive and kicking, and you can take the exam until June 2020 (and that's the earliest the exams would be retired). ITIL 4 doesn't replace or negate V3/2011, it builds on it and makes it more awesome.

@bram_de_backer I'm choosing not to dive too deeply into ITIL 4 with clients until all of the ITIL 4 core books are written and I've had a chance to read them. Clients are seeking my expertise, but I can't be an expert in something that doesn't fully exist yet. 😉

@ITSMNinja Have a great time! It was really great; I'm so happy I went. We had 3 folks in our session from last year's Foundation session-- it was great to see them.

As an independent trainer, I don't get to see fellow instructors very often, so these sessions are an extra-special treat for me.
