@JackParMa@stephen_diss@Rinedog1 To be fair to baez, he has dropped that k rate, 28% since may 1st. Still not great, but no one would complain about gorman if he got 35 bombs.
@FormerRedbirds C: Bernal/Crooks
1B: Burley/Herrera (platoon)
2B: JJ
3B: Anyone

LF: Báez

I think your giving a chance to Ragsdale and Jesús Báez mid season. Gotta stop with Herrera at catcher, maybe try him at third and first and see how it goes.
@BKSportsTalk One that shouldn't cost much besides money is Devin Williams. Hometown kid, prior success in the division, can stabilize the bullpen, and shouldn't hurt prospect capital. Keep Riley in the closer role, use Williams as a fireman like Milwaukee did.
@SleeperSTL This is why I'd like to see us target Devin Williams. We have the money, we need the bullpen help, and I don't think he's going to cost anything of note prospect wise.
@STLfan006457 There's a theory that ballpark village affected the wind and air movement in the park causing balls to fly less particularly to left center. Since its been build it's gone from neutral to pitcher friendly.
@SandyMac718 I'd like to see them deal Pages and bring up Bernal. Move Herrera to DH full time. Deal Nootbarr and May. Bring up Báez. Hopefully return a prospect that looks like the future third baseman. Defense up the middle with pop in the corners.
@AdamAkbani My problem when trusting Fangraphs scouting of Baez is the say hes an average runner. He had a sprint speed of 29.6 ft/s earlier this year. Victor Scott's 98th percentile sprint speed is 29.7 ft/s. That makes it hard to trust their scouting for me.
@CardinalsRed96 He's had two good starts in a row, one against a 26-42 team. Before that he had 33 walks in 39 innings. Lets slow down on pushing him into the rotation. He needs at least another good month or 2 before they bring him up.
@thomasgauvain @thebirdcage1826 You have no idea if he can play third. It's not an unheard of transition, Josh Donaldson did it. I'm not saying he can, but don't act like it's not an experiment that might be worth trying.
@RayMileur1 Look at his monthly splits too, he's getting better. 37% K rate in April, 29% in May. Lets give him some time, he got better every month last year at AA. 27% K rate in June, 22% in July and 13% in August.
