@ImperiusWrecked As far as we've seen from the leaks/datamines, most of the future playable villains are either niche, really obscure or aren't as popular (but still familiar) compared to the big name villains. Those being the likes of Hive, The Hood, M.O.D.O.K., Locus and Paste-Pot Pete.

@heavenblitzer @fujolatina I feel like Ghost Rider would make the most sense to pair up with The Hood, since it adds a niche villain to the roster alongside a character people have been begging for since Day 1. Plus both characters are tied to the supernatural.

@k_seguun13 @HellaSteve1 @dev2warm That claim is gonna be so dumb once they add Blade to the base roster for Ghost Rider's team, and plus the racism argument makes no sense as we also have a Pakistani woman, a Hispanic man, two black women and a Japanese girl currently on the roster. Sounds pretty diverse to me.

@k_seguun13 @HellaSteve1 @dev2warm That still makes no sense as Shuri is a black woman and T'Challa's sister, I'd understand the claims of racism if they suddenly replaced him with a white guy, but they didn't. Also Storm is on the roster, so the racism claim against the devs still doesn't apply.

@BluSatire Plus the roster has a balance of characters we've seen in fighting games before and some that haven't been in a fighting game before for a 7:7 ratio so far. Which I like, since we get characters MvC fans wanted and some new additions exclusive to Tōkon.

@yokaii_5 @NeoJudai Why do you consider Marvel Tokon as having the worst roster? Let me guess, it's because they're trying something different from the bog standard Marvel fighting game rosters you'd normally see in Marvel vs. Capcom, isn't it? Or is it because Cyclops isn't in the base roster?

@SteinmarkJ92189 @ReignOfPride But if they only focused on popular characters then eventually they'll only have niche characters left, so grouping them together is the way to go instead of focusing on one over the other. Year 2 so far gave us two popular characters and two niche characters.

@SteinmarkJ92189 @ReignOfPride No season is a waste character wise since the goal of these roster choices is to have a mix of popular characters and shine a light on some niche characters so they garner a fanbase that allows for future appearances in more comics and adaptations. Like what Marvel vs Capcom did.
