Official Tourist Board for Benson Knott.
319m/1047ft tall and proud of it.
Ideal location for fell running with small dogs. Father to small dog. Lover of pigs
Our neighbours at Fisher Tarn have erected 10' fences much to the dismay of some of our regulars. We approached them with your concerns & they responded in an angry voice telling us "It's to keep out the riff raff from The Knott, you can keep the pervert with the white dog too!"
It seems that Fisher Tarn is now off limits to the public. The wall nr Benson Knott has been rebuilt and the path now has two 10' deer fences. Met at the dam by the tenant who after threatening to prosecute me explained the issues they have had with litter +vandalism. V sad!
It has been brought to the attention of The Knott Board that someone on Strava has been using The Knott to amuse themselves (really!). We will increase patrols and monitor all users of The Knott to ensure this childish stunt is not repeated.
@LakesStiles @tutty352 @walkhikeaholic @Petelh11@LakesTrees @JamieHutt0n Great to hear you've experienced a new section of The Knott. It warms our heart to hear that even an experienced Knotter like yourself is still discovering the charming secrets The Knott has hidden.

Highs of 2° and lows of - 5° on The Knott today. It will continue very cold, but with easterly winds diminishing. The risk of snow flurries will continue, however. There should be more bright or sunny intervals. Tonight a severe frost is possible.#KnottWeather
We've had reports of an old man that's taken a fall running The Knott. We're trying to get someone up there to find out if he's OK but most of the Benson Knott Tourist Board have been furloughed, the only one still working is in the bath. We'll send someone up there tomorrow
