Talk about a climate crisis! Due to impending storms, the KnowTomorrow event has been moved to the Ritz-Carlton just off the Boston Common.

Our only hope is to encourage world powers to seriously switch to renewable energy, and to fund renewables in developing countries. #COP21

And small countries don't want to sign agreements because they need/want to be richer & are undergoing fossil fuel-powered industrial growth

This's because oil/natural gas/coal have a stronghold on our markets. We power industries with fossil fuels, & export to energy poor nations

The US & other big emitters-- often China, Canada, Australia-- usually don't even participate major policies, even though we know we need to

Even though climate change effects everyone, regardless of nationality, there are some actors who are hesitant to make meaningful agreements

Many view #COP21 as the last chance to make policies, determine goals & set deadlines addressing climate change before damage is permanent.

#COP21 or the Conference of Parties is ongoing today. It's the UN's environmental negotiation including nearly every nation in the world.
