@jennpolite What’s so wrong with lining up their toys? Isn’t play supposed to be enriching & and enjoyable for the child playing? Why force them to play in a style that’s not beneficial for them but only in a way that’s appropriate in the eyes of the adult watching?

@NeuroRebel When I was young I’d have shutdowns after internal melt downs. I learned fast that melt downs got me in trouble. So I internalised them and shutdown afterwards. Painful.
