I remember very well the moment when Cardano got "smart contracts". Everyone was excited, but Cardano did not become an Ethereum killer.
Why?
Because adoption is not only about technological dominance, but also about liquidity, stablecoins, partnerships, Oracles, bridges, etc.
FEs made a mistake by not making strategic partnerships in time and not investing in adoption.
They expected the technology to attract users to the Cardano ecosystem, while degens trade memes on Solana and Ethereum strengthened its position despite many problems.
If we do not support the growth of the ecosystem now, we will repeat the same mistake a second time. This time the decision is on DReps, not FEs.
I am not saying that AlphaGrowth is a flawless proposal, but it is probably the best we have at the moment.
I agree with the opinion that we need to have a strategy and have the ability to prioritize. The reality is that Cardano governance does not have this ability at the moment.
Moreover, many DReps and other entities explicitly refuse to strengthen the role of DReps, or to entrust them with greater responsibility for deciding on grants or increasing liquidity.
We are not willing to invest in governance. DReps have been deciding on withdrawals for free for several months this period.
People should first of all thank DReps for still being here and doing something. Blaming them for their decisions will not get us anywhere.
Anyway, I know one thing for sure. If we hope that Cardano will win only through technological dominance, we can get into problems that will be difficult to get out of.
Other ecosystems are not necessarily technologically better, nor are they as decentralized as Cardano, but they are not afraid to invest in adoption, developers, and the ecosystem. And they do it really well, to be honest.
AlphaGrowth can significantly help Cardano if we set the rules well. Therefore, we should consider it seriously and without emotions.
JUST IN🔥 : Cardano is now officially connected to Injective, the first blockchain to have a live onchain rail to Cardano via testnet.
$ADA is coming to Injective. $INJ is coming to @Cardano. Both will be available across the two ecosystems.

This means some Dreps will vote no purely out of spite or with the intent to see Cardano fail.
🚨 A surprise is coming for the Cardano DeFi community.
Cardamom goes live this Monday.
The countdown is on.
