[Lord Rapihana @LordRapihana]

@piersmorgan Spencer and Andrew Fox are 2 of the biggest zioslaves on Earth. If Israel bombed themthey would write/produce an article from hospital justifying it by calling themselves Hamas. That's how servile they are.

[Jeremy Corbyn @jeremycorbyn]

Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people.

Piecemeal sanctions against settlement goods or individual ministers won't cut it.

Britain must end all trade, all arms sales, and all support for Israel's economy of occupation, apartheid and genocide.

[Jemima Goldsmith @Jemima_Khan]

Prime Minister @andyburnham and Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband : how much longer will Britain remain silent?

For three years the father of my two sons, and Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has been brutally penalised by his political opponents, in a personal vendetta by Army Chief, Asim Munir,  which according to the UN,  amounts to torture and which  is now taking a potentially fatal toll on his physical and mental health.

He has endured 3 years of solitary confinement. For nearly ten months now his family has been denied contact with him. He has been deprived of the most basic human contact, denied access to books, lawyers and doctors.

The international human-rights standards are unequivocal. Under the UN’s Nelson Mandela Rules, solitary confinement lasting more than 15 consecutive days is prohibited and amounts to torture.

He has endured this treatment not for 15 days, but for three years.

Pakistan’s own Supreme Court has now intervened: ordering comprehensive  medical treatment, access to his personal doctor, regular family visits and twice-weekly calls with his sons.

Yet those orders are being defied.

This is no longer simply a Pakistani political matter. It is a human-rights emergency.

He has deep and lifelong ties to Britain. He studied at Oxford University, captained Oxford University cricket and spent years playing county cricket in England. His relationship with this country stretches back more than half a century. His charitable activities were internationally recognised, and  include building the only free cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as a university.

His sons, my two boys, Sulaiman and Kasim, are British citizens. They have been forced to watch their father’s health decline from thousands of miles away, prevented from visiting him, denied visas, publicly threatened by government officials with arrest themselves, and even denied court-mandated regular phone calls.

I have repeatedly appealed to the UK government to intervene. Purported attempts at back channelling have evidently failed. The previous Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy informed me in writing that Britain would not  intervene if my sons, British citizens, are arrested when they travel to Pakistan to visit their father.

@FCDOGovUK: Britain must now speak out publicly and unequivocally. Demand that Pakistan comply with its own Supreme Court;  restore Imran Khan’s medical access, his right to see his family, end his prolonged isolation and uphold his fundamental human rights.

Pakistan is a Commonwealth country. Britain has a long and proud tradition of standing against arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment and the denial of fundamental rights. Those principles mean very little if we invoke them only selectively and neglect them when inconvenient.
This an appeal to the new Burnham government  to please now do the right thing.

[Abubaker Abed @AbubakerAbedW]

@IsabelOakeshott So the criterion is to be a prostitute to win a British citizen award?

Someone as racist as you must never be anywhere near journalism. You're not a journalist but only a white supremacist, bigoted Islamophobic woman.

Britain is still supplying arms to Israel. Britain is still supplying intelligence. Britain is still complicit in genocide.

The government is lying to you.

Britain is directly involved in Trump's illegal war on Iran.

🚨ANNOUNCEMENT: We're extending free swimming to thousands more residents in Tower Hamlets.

After we brought the leisure centres back into public hands, we introduced free swimming to all women and girls over 16 and men over 55 to help tackle health inequalities, which has already seen more than 20,500 residents sign up.

We are now extending this to all men over 35, and to all parents - of any age - who come to swim with their children.

This £500,000 additional investment in free swimming will support more families to ensure their kids learn to swim and improve health and wellbeing across our borough.

[Jeremy Corbyn @jeremycorbyn]

Another day, another unspeakable act of cruelty.

There will be no consequences. Instead, our government will keep providing military and economic support, granting endless impunity for Israel's crimes.

What utter inhumanity. We will not rest until Palestine is free.

A personal plea to @elonmusk
My two sons have not been allowed to see or speak to their father Imran Khan who has been held unlawfully (acc to the UN) for 22 months of solitary confinement.
X is the only place left where we can still tell the world he is a political prisoner without basic human rights.
Yet every time I post about him, the reach inside Pakistan (and often globally) is throttled to almost zero.
You promised free speech, not “speech but no one hears it”.
Please fix the visibility filtering on my account so we can get the message out! @MarioNawfal

[Jemima Goldsmith @Jemima_Khan]

.@elonmusk
Elon, you may recall we have met before.
I am Jemima Goldsmith (Khan), former wife of Imran Khan — Pakistan’s democratically elected Prime Minister, removed in 2022 and now held 22 months in brutal solitary confinement as a political prisoner.
Our two sons have not seen him in all that time, have not spoken to him in months, and are not even allowed to send him letters. His name is banned from every Pakistani TV and radio station. X was therefore our only independent platform to highlight this injustice. However acc to Grok- your own AI- “Every time you post anything about Imran’s jail conditions, solitary confinement or your son’s access to their father, the algorithm limits the post…. The Pakistani authorities have made criticism from Imran Khan’s immediate circle one of their top online enforcement priorities, and X is quietly complying just enough to keep the platform alive in the country.”
You have repeatedly pledged that X will protect free speech and will not silence lawful political expression.
Yet Grok has examined my X analytics (3.56 million followers) and concluded my account is subjected to what Grok calls “secret throttling” (the algorithm deliberately hides my posts from almost everyone even though the account is not suspended).
The damning evidence Grok found is as follows :
• In 2023–early 2024, I averaged 400–900 million impressions per month (normal reach for my follower count).
• But in the entire 2025, impressions dropped to only 28.6 million total — a 97% crash to <3% of expected reach.
• The turning point was May 2025: one post spiked to 4 million impressions the day Pakistan’s X ban ended (proving my audience was still engaged), thereafter impressions were instantly crushed to near zero and stayed there. These numbers & assessments are all verbatim from Grok.

I am asking you to honour the free-speech promises you have made for this platform.
Please remove the “secret throttling” Grok identified on @Jemima_Khan
Thank you.

You sure did Sir. That was the problem.

At its core the battle for NYC was the politics of fear and division against the politics of hope.
This is a fantastic moment we can all celebrate whatever our politics, left or right because hope won🙌
Hope won there and it can win here.
Many many congratulations to a young man who despite all the attacks remained unapologetically himself

A live streamed genocide.

The Israeli military know exactly who their targets are when they fire missiles from drones.

At least 15 people, including paramedics, civil defence and 3 journalists, murdered on live television.

No-one can say they did not know 👇
