The baffling question that has been haunting me all night was the age old, "Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?" The answer was a resounding yes, and while this outcome didn't surprise me, I simply don't understand a result this detached from logic and morality.

How have we not had a Shadowrun game in 9 years. I mean, it's Baldur's Gate by way of Cyberpunk! Part of me wants to go beg and plead at Harebrained Schemes or Larian's doorstep, but it's probably Microsoft's fault.

@ManyATrueNerd This isn't explored as much mechanically with the PC (outside of cybernetics limiting access to magic), but it is delved into with the characters (the best of which did it to themselves on purpose).

I really want Harebrained Schemes to revisit that universe.

@ManyATrueNerd The Shadowrun games do have lore where characters who incorporate too much tech lose their connection to their own soul, which is kind of like a better explored version of the Cyberpsychosis from Cyberpunk.
I'm repeatedly surprised there isn't a MaTN ep. on Dragonfall or HK.

I think I'm going to love #OrbOntheMovementsoftheEarth, but I'm not about to take the time to review a double length premiere. Still, Netflix has a solid selection of good anime this season.

There are times when I absolutely love #AlyaSometimesHidesHerFeelingsinRussian's sense of humor, but then there are those moments where the show seems to be looking for any opportunity to insert fanservice. (Yes, I just got to the episode with the random hypnotism. Da fuh?)

Okay... I hadn't paid attention to what #AlyaSometimesHidesHerFeelingsinRussian was doing with its ending themes until I hit episode 4 and did one of the biggest double takes I've done in a while... It's been a while, but Hare Hare Yukai is still one of the most famous anime EDs.

I watched the first 3 episodes of #ByeByeEarth, and... I want to like it. I'd even go so far as to say I'm a little emotionally invested, but... I rarely have any idea whats happening in it.
If I wasn't playing catch-up, maybe I'd stick with it, but nah. I'm gonna drop this one.

For the record, I'm on episode two, and I'm still not sure if it is subverting the little sister trope or playing into it. The show is still making me laugh, and the dynamics are fun, but it does play into some elements that I don't love. We'll see.

I'm playing catch-up on some of the anime from this season, and I don't know what to think of #AlyaSometimesHidesHerFeelingsInRussian. I like the central subversion of standardized tropes, and the comedy hits really well, but the show does go a bit more lurid then I tend to like.
