the minnesota 15, indicted by the federal government for their work against ICE, leave the federal courthouse in downtown minneapolis after their first appearances and are joined by supporters waiting outside
The number of financial side deals the Trump family is running is so shocking it can sometimes be hard to track.
According to @Reuters, their crypto ventures alone have delivered $2.3 billion to Trump & co. while creating a similar-sized loss for investors.
Study shows COVID vaccines decreased heart attacks and strokes.
A sweeping analysis of nearly 46 million adult health records has delivered a clear verdict: COVID-19 vaccination sharply lowers the risk of heart attacks and strokes, directly refuting persistent claims to the contrary.
Published in Nature Communications, the study followed people across England from December 2020 through January 2022. It documented a 10% drop in serious arterial blood clots (including heart attacks and strokes) after the first dose alone. Protection strengthened further with subsequent doses: a 20% reduction among those fully vaccinated with Pfizer/BioNTech and a striking 27% reduction for AstraZeneca recipients.
The researchers were upfront about rare side effects—myocarditis and certain clotting disorders—that can occur shortly after vaccination, but stressed these remain exceptionally uncommon.
By comparison, catching COVID-19 itself dramatically raised the odds of major cardiovascular events.
Lead co-author Dr. Samantha Ip described the results as some of the strongest evidence yet that the vaccines do more than prevent severe infection: they also confer lasting protection against two of the world’s leading killers.

Wharton researchers gave nearly 1,000 high school math students access to ChatGPT during practice problems
Result: chatGPT is the perfect trap.
Look at the red bars.
Students with ChatGPT crushed their practice sessions.
The basic ChatGPT group solved more problems and those on the "tutor" version did even more.
Now look at the gray bars. That's the exam.
No AI allowed.
The ChatGPT group scored 17% worse than kids who practiced with zero technology.
And the fancy tutor version?
No better than working alone.
The researchers called AI a "crutch."
When they analyzed what students actually typed into ChatGPT, most of them just wrote - “What’s the answer?”
The kicker: students who used ChatGPT believed it hadn't hurt their learning.
They were confidently wrong.
This is the AI trap in education.
Outsourcing your thinking.
Of course, lots of half-baked AI literacy curricula being rolled out in schools now
Let’s of course ignore that basic literacy (the ability to read) is possible for <50% of 8th graders

Edward Norton: “The anxiety of these times is particularly intense right now. We know the world is effed up in ways that are unprecedented in our lifetimes. We live in this unbelievable onslaught of information. We see genocide being livestreamed to us. We see American citizens being killed by paramilitary people in our own streets for standing in solidarity with their neighbors. We’re seeing Epstein’s abuses titrated into us on a daily basis”
DHS SHUTDOWN OFFER.
@NewsHour has obtained this letter from the WH to Senators outlining their offer for ending the shutdown.
Read here. But basic points:
- Expand use, oversight of body cameras
- Limit immigration enforcement at schools, churches, sensitive locations (voluntary)
- Enforce use of visible ID for DHS law enforcement. Officers must state their agency and identification when asked.
- Will not deport US citizens, as per the law and will codify that US citizens should not be detained except if a law is violated.
This was first reported by @PunchbowlNews I believe.
The Obama Presidential Center will be open to all visitors this summer — even Anthony Edwards 😂
Ant and former President Barack Obama squashed the beef over hoops, ping pong and more 🏓
If the child on the left was old enough to pick cotton and the child on the right was old enough to attend Klan rallies, then today's children are old enough to learn about both of these and how they've led us to where we are today.
Mannnnn. Thank yall for the love. For real!!!
Yesterday I had daddy duties that came before album release celebrations. Today I got my old civic (with the brand new engine) a tour bus and some sprinters. In the trunk of my car is boxes of The Fall-Off CD’s. As a teenager I had copies of the Fayettenam Bommuh’s album that Nervous gave me to sell. I used to go up to the gas stations trying to sell the album to strangers “yo you like hip hop??” Was the beginning of the sales pitch.
When I was working on this album I had the desire to go feel that feeling again, and that’s what I’m about to do. Trunk Sale Tour 26!! I don’t know where we bout to drive to, but catch me outside! Cop a CD from me or just show love. I truly appreciate all the love and the reaction to the music.
Today @CatoInstitute published our report providing the first look at the fiscal effects of the wave of legal & illegal immigration over the last 3 decades. It shows immigrants created surpluses every year, by a combined $14.5 trillion, even as deficits grew
In this video montage, JD Vance says:
1. He “never liked” Trump.
2. Trump never “tells the truth”.
3. Trump is a “total fraud”.
4. Trump doesn’t “care about folks” .
5. He “can’t stomach” Trump.
🚨US job market recession continues:
The US economy shed -164,000 jobs over the last 4 months, excluding healthcare and social assistance sectors, the worst decline since the 2020 Crisis.
Outside of 2020, this is the weakest period for the labor market since the Great Financial Crisis.
Healthcare and social assistance were only one of the few sectors that saw job additions in 2025.
Healthcare is hiding a jobs crisis.
