Update on the Votemarket incident.

On March 12, a vulnerability in a peripheral oracle contract was exploited, draining ~$176K in rewards across 54 campaigns on Arbitrum & Base. No core Votemarket contracts were affected.

The attack vector has been identified and neutralized, a second attempt by the exploiter was already blocked.

Only veCRV Round 234 claims were impacted. All previous rounds are unaffected, and Votemarket is fully operational again.

An emergency governance proposal is now live to ensure the quick and full reimbursement of all affected users and protocols from the Stake DAO treasury. Details on distribution will follow once the vote passes.
