Desperately ManUtd. Naija. Ninja.
Respectfully, engage my posts to discuss/learn/teach. Not fight/argue. We learn daily.
WellTraveled. WellRead. Rockstar.
@Nuel006 I prefer Mount to play in that midfield alongside Mainoo/Ederson
FootballMan has moved beyond "destroyer" midfielders. Man Utd needs multi-talented, hard-working, press-resistance technical players
We enjoyed Man Utd last season because they focus on offensive not defensive
@SkyFootball I guess this answer the biggest question of his ability so far:
*If he is good, why isnt he in Brazil's world cup squad"
Answer: He is in. He is good.
@MartinsCyn Man Utd scouts are so bad at their jobs that they dont see red flags
I argued this same point here with a Man Utd fan then...."If he is good, why is PSG selling a young player"?
Carrick cannot depend on them...he has to find his players himself and fight to get them
Period
@FabrizioRomano Martial/Dele Alli are two players whose career nosedive needs to be studied at Harvard
How so much talent can go to waste so quickly is a head scratcher
That Martial went from Man Utd to AEK was even very worrisome.
@Optimistic_Ade Not sure who needs this information and the detailed mathematics
But, thanks for making this known to everyone including the so called bandits...
@AJEnglish I still dont understand why Iran had to go to this World Cup.
In the middle of hostilities. Right after so much havoc done to their country. All the deaths and assassination. The school children. The many degrading conditions
I cannot justify the attendance...not at all
@EzzyMUFC Dalot needs coaching on how to finish. Serious one
Watch this chance again. He never lifted his head up to see where to best place the ball. He just hit it direct at the goalie
Football intelligence is the difference between the top 1% and the middle bunch
@AnfieldWatch Konate was offered this deal months ago by Madrid, that's why he didnt sign a new deal.
TBH, he was the weakest link in defence last season. He is just not as good as echoed. Reminds me of Lindelof at Man Utd. Always an error in him
Its an opportunity for an upgrade
@JM_navarrete For the 1st time in more than 10 years, Carrick did what other managers couldn't do: Man Utd being press resistant
In my opinion, 3 things made this happen
1) Carrick restored confidence in each player. Take risk. Be calm
2) Mainoo the contoller
3) Team is cohesive
Kudos
@BabaGeshin@Bigspunks This is business sense not common sense.
The truth is you can sell your for whatever you like even if you are in conference league
West Ham would have to sell because the revenue they'll be making now wont carry his wages...thats all
Thats what Man Utd can lean on
@Biyo_lar Its been 13 years since SAF retired...
One day, I hope you would finally realize that what worked 13 years ago wont necessarily work today - CHANGE
Maybe If SAF was still in charge today, maybe he would have changed too
I really hope one day...we would move on from SAF
@Divine_Hopee The only reason Bayern would reject a 150m for Olise is ego and fan troubles
No business-minded football club should reject 150m for any player because you can replace the player
150m is a lot of money for any player
Ego and fan troubles can make them reject it though
@Nuel006 So, because Man Utd has a sugar daddy, they should spend dumb money, right?
Many people dont understand that the "real" rich people are the most frugal. Its one of the qualities that made them rich and stay rich
Man Utd dont need to spend 250m to get an Isak/Wirtz
