I would suggest a collective trauma approach that is both culturally and contextually appropriate for the ppl fromUkraine. It is essential to reflect on the displacement in the first instance & create a psychologically supportive environment to address their needs @ukgutfeelings
As a person who works with people affected by war, it pains me deeply to see what is happening in Ukraine-praying for the people 🙏🏽 @romillyg@saiqa_naz@KrishNath16
Here is my hot take. If your scale or therapy manual was developed using public / government funds, grants or time then on publication it belongs to the public and failure to share it is unethical. Unless your research shows it is not much use.
I cant agree with you. They do routinely ask some, ie name preference, abode, but sensitive issue is hardly a starting point. Most clients like to talk about their main difficulty at that time. @KrishNath16
Today I was reflecting about how little psychological assessments care for intersectionality 😅and it’s so strange to me that psychs (and other MH professionals) don’t routinely ask people about aspects of their identity that are important to them before starting an intervention
Had my vaccine today. Still alive and no side effects. So, whatever colour, race, religion, you are; if you are over 50, then take the vaccine and let's all put cibid19 behind.@KrishNath16 @andrewbeck45 @saiqa_naz@MeeraBahu
