As in the lack of action has led to laws such as this being introduced. The government as a whole (both sides) is focusing on the smaller issues instead of the problem as a whole.

I have said that it's a very complicated issue that needs to be addressed by both sides. I am a gun owner myself, but I still feel the laws are too lacks.

But, focusing on social media instead of addressing the large number of school shootings is a mistake. Don't want your kid to have social media, no cell phone, or limit internet.

Or teach their children how to survive a mass shooting. Uvalde was committed, but a person who legally purchased their gun. Their are improvements that need to be made on all sides

They need better requirements for people to be able to buy guns. I think they should have to show proof that they are properly stored. Social media is a scary place but can easily be limited.

@megmegs48 @KXAN_News @GregAbbott_TX They ignore the fact that our foster system is broken and kids get dumped onto the streets as soon as they age out. School lunches should be free as for some kids, that is the only meal they get a day.

We need better gun education for those who purchase guns, better mental health screening for those who purchase. I have no issue with people owning them, but kids shouldn't have to go to school with bulletproof bags
