We have to adjust our language around health insurance.

1) Socialized health insurance = government involvement in paying and deciding what care is reasonable

2) For profit = this is what people are calling private health insurance and that’s incorrect. We pay someone to negotiate for us in this model because we either suck at managing money, we have long term health conditions, or we’re scared of catastrophe.

3) private health insurance = we save our own earned money as if we’re paying insurance premiums and deductibles. We build a pot of healthcare wealth and we negotiate our care with providers so we can uniquely meet our healthcare needs and wishes. No middle people and no dictates from profitable companies or government. 🤔
