GM/coach is rare but not unprecedented in pro. It’s more of a regularity in the CHL. Heck, the SDHL has a player/GM.

I don’t have any concern over the dual role tbh.

It’s worth remembering Troy Ryan built Canada’s national team from a low point to one of its most successful eras. Has had highs and lows in the PWHL, and what he takes away from them will be key in building San Jose. I’m higher on this than most.

@IanKennedyCK There hasnt been a weekday takeover game in Hamilton, has there? A huge portion of the crowd that went to this years game were TO STH's..and it was a midday weekend. I wouldnt consider this a "new market" this early in the leagues growth.

@IanKennedyCK @Kpopggstan1 We had to expect them in Toronto. We've maxed out our available seats since day 1 basically, the only way to get more revenue from us is the ticket increase (+ merch of course). Mine went from $57 to $71 each.
