#TuesdayThoughts I am glad I agreed to swim over the weekend in the parent/coach relay for my daughter’s swim team. First time off blocks in more than 20 years.
Sometimes it’s good to push past your comfort zone.

We don't know who needs to hear this but if you are a parent you should get high-speed internet and a reliable timer. Because no one wants row z seats for the school play.

Anyone else slightly unwrap their kids good Halloween candy and tell them it's tempered with so it must be thrown away. But in actuality, you're saving the good candy for yourself? I mean the kids can have the candy corn, loose change and toothpaste.

#SignsYoureNotVeryPopular with your tween:
When she asks where her cell phone is you just laugh
When she asks if you like her outfit you say YES!
When she asks for extra money you reply, back in my day I had to earn it.

I'm not sure I understand intermediate fasting. Isn't that parenting? A cheese stick, rest of your kid's lunch he didn't eat, a cracker and then not eating for 6 hours due to sports, doctor's appointments, fighting kids, piano lessons and pure exhaustion.

What are the two words that people way over use? Here’s the two I hear way too often : epic and surreal. Seriously watch the next red carpet show and count how many times these were are said.
Husband: How are we going to get out of the pumpkin patch this year?
Me: Maybe we could bribe them.
20 dollars later spent on toys equaled 3 dollar grocery store pumpkins for all.
Parents for the win.
