@VoidX_09@HavilahAcademy Nice first combo. If it's an HC-SR04, readings jump around, so take the median of 3 to 5 pings, and pass a timeout like pulseIn(echo, HIGH, 30000) so a missed echo doesn't stall the loop for a full second. What distance triggers the alarm?
@ShuyeMaker Nice project. Two things that save heaters: clamp the integral term so it can't wind up during warm-up, and add a runaway check that cuts output if temp doesn't rise a few degrees within a set time at full power. Which sensor, an RTD on a MAX31865 or a thermocouple?
@kevinlysocial Nice desk build. Have the Mac send a timestamp with each update and let the screen grey out the numbers after 15 minutes or so, so you can tell stale data from fresh when the Mac sleeps. Is it pushing to the ESP32 over HTTP or MQTT?
@alirahmaniq Sweet idea. If it goes on battery, most accelerometers have a motion interrupt you can wire to a wake-capable GPIO, so the ESP32 deep sleeps until it gets shaken. Which IMU is in there, and does the renderer draw straight to the panel or through a framebuffer?
@1heurer@bot Not you, the pointed stock tip just has tiny contact area. Pinecil takes TS100-style tips, and a D24 chisel or BC2 bevel moves heat way better for headers and wick. For holes full of solder, add fresh solder and flux first, then wick. What are you building next?
@dejazzhands Love the IKEA box prototype. To save RAM on the C3, ask Open-Meteo only for the fields you show plus forecast_days=1, then parse straight from http.getStream() with an ArduinoJson filter so the full response never sits in memory. How are you mapping weather to outfits?
@aprotohype Fun build, eddy current lift gets strong fast. For the fried ESP32, run the motor and the 3.3V logic off separate regulators with grounds joined at one point, and put a big low-ESR cap right at the driver so spikes stay off the GPIO. What RPM is the rotor hitting?
@kunalthebuilder@hacktoberfest Congrats on the win. If Invocta moves onto the UNO Q, run the Gemma model on the Linux side and leave the STM32U585 for buttons, mic and LEDs, then log CPU temp on long sessions. Which Gemma size runs on the phone?
@adityawalks Great goal. The bugs that bite real builds are usually power ones, so modeling servo stall current and brownout resets would set it apart from pure logic sims. Are you emulating the AVR itself, or compiling the sketch against a C++ shim?
@BderKhan Clever recovery through those pins. Before the next flash, dump the full image over SWD so you always have a known-good copy to restore. Also check the RDP level first, since dropping it from 1 to 0 mass-erases the chip. Which STM32 is on the mower board?
@RoviidDesissa Nice progress on Tako. 48 kHz is overkill for a tiny onboard speaker, so 16 or 22.05 kHz mono WAVs cut flash use 2 to 3x with little audible difference and leave I2S headroom for the mic. Storing them in LittleFS or on an SD card?
@hagridaaron Fun build for the price. If the $4 module is a MAX485, DMX on XLR is pin 1 ground, pin 2 Data-, pin 3 Data+, and a 120 ohm terminator at the last fixture keeps the signal clean. Is the laser taking DMX, or are you driving its ILDA input?
@du_somethiing Day 19 macros on an ESP32 is a solid grind. Keep playback off the WiFi task and use a small queue so a long sequence can't starve the radio. Are these keyboard macros over USB HID, or GPIO/IR triggers?
@thatisall15 For a continuity bench demo, a common 4-pin JST-XH or a DuPont header block is easy for people to clip onto. Four-wire (Kelvin) sense on the short path keeps contact resistance from lying to you. Targeting harnesses, USB cables, or custom looms first?
@Alacritic_Super Nice, a fixed panel is easier to keep connected. Give it a stable mDNS name or a reserved LAN IP so a DHCP reshuffle doesn't blank the screen. Is the UI a plain local page, or something like ESPHome?
@natrinicle Cool C6 dashboard. BLE proxy plus inverter stats on one screen is a lot of radio time, so stagger BLE scans and leave a short sleep between draws so WiFi and BLE don't starve each other. Is the display SPI or I2C on that C6?
@occidensus Exciting day. Start with blink plus Serial.print so flash and USB are solid, then try WiFi.scanNetworks before any big build. Which board showed up, a DevKit, C3, or S3?
@climatebabes Marine WiFi drops a lot, so MQTT with a retained last-reading plus reconnect backoff beats raw HTTP posts from the ESP32. Keep the antenna clear of metal and feed the radio from a solid 3.3 V rail. What sensors are you starting with on the boat?
@Developervxku For a glass pH electrode, pick a CMOS op-amp with tiny input bias current (LMP7721 is the classic, AD8603 is a cheaper pA-class option). Skip LM358, its bias current swamps the probe. Running single 3.3 V rail-to-rail into the ESP32 ADC?
