Google which is cash surplus, just announced an additional capital raise of $80 bn.
Google annual profit is $160 bn, last quarter $62 bn, and market cap $4.5 trillion. That is close to total profits and market cap of all Indian listed companies put together.
It’s a wake up call to all companies to invest into the future, whatever the present maybe.
Now that IPL is done and dusted, time for India to focus on business of business.

Building an integration with @squarespace and hit a frustrating OAuth limitation.

Their OAuth flow gives:

access token → expires in 30 mins
refresh token → expires in 7 days

If a merchant connects their store but has low activity (no orders/product sync/API calls for a few days), apps need to keep running background refresh jobs just to prevent token expiry.

If the refresh token expires, the merchant has to reconnect the store again through the full auth flow.

For apps managing hundreds or thousands of merchant stores, this creates unnecessary complexity:

background cron jobs
token refresh tracking
storing latest refresh tokens
reconnect support tickets from inactive merchants

Most #ecommerce platforms provide longer-lived refresh tokens or more stable token handling.

Curious how other developers handling #Squarespace integrations are solving this.

A Vostro route is a standard inward remittance flow. Even if USD is received via a correspondent bank and settled in INR, the beneficiary bank must issue FIRC. ICICI’s own site confirms FIRC applies even when funds come through another bank.

Saying “USD was not received directly” is not a valid reason to deny FIRC. This is a service or process gap, not a rule issue.
