A quick note. You don’t have to be rich to do this. Hell, you can start with $50 a month!
$50x12 =$600.00
$600x18=$10,800.00 (over 18 years)
Let’s say it appreciates 7% a year
$10,800x7%=$756.00 now they have over $11,000 they can utilize.
Then teach them the right ways to use money & they can flip it or at least do something for themselves with it.
Don’t compare it to what I’m doing, compare it to what was done for you. If the answer was nothing was done for you as a kid until you were an adult, then ask yourself would this at least be helpful if your parents did do this for you?
Exactly.
My daughter Nani is 7 years old & her net worth is currently $33,402.85 and she’s made $6,727 on her portfolio.
I’ve been investing for her since she was 2 & I’d like to share this with some parents who would like to do the same for their children
(Here’s a quick investing thread for your kid)
I had to a go through that phase of being financially irresponsible just to be intentional will every dollar I spend today.
I’ll never be ashamed of learning the hard way, growth came from it.
My favorite apps right now are WeBull, Vanguard, Robinhood, and M1. I could care less about Diddy, Cassie, DDG, Halle or whatever news that does NOT contribute towards the growth of my portfolio.
🚨 NEW: The Government's planned changes to the UK immigration system:
- Work visas will only be available for degree-level jobs, and the minimum pay required to get one will go up
- Lower-skilled jobs will almost never get visas (only in rare cases where there’s a major shortage - and even then, these will be strictly-limited and companies must prove they're training UK workers too)
- A new expert panel will track which industries rely too much on foreign workers to push those industries to hire and train locally instead
- Companies that want to sponsor visas must create a plan to fix staff shortages, such as offering better pay, apprenticeships, or more UK training
- Student and family visa rules will also change - we don’t know the details yet, but the Government says the focus is "control, contribution and community cohesion"
The full Immigration White Paper will be published tomorrow (Monday)
