SWIFT'S BLOCKCHAIN LEDGER IS BEING PLUGGED DIRECTLY INTO BANKS' EXISTING PAYMENT INFRASTRUCTURE

ACI Worldwide announced today that its ACI Connetic payments hub will support transactions orchestrated through Swift's blockchain based ledger.

This is an important piece of the institutional plumbing.

Banks will be able to process tokenized deposit payments alongside traditional payments using the same routing, monitoring, reconciliation and operational controls instead of building an entirely separate digital asset operation.

A new working paper shows global imbalances have recently increased sharply, driven mainly by financial factors. Any sizeable reduction would trigger large international spillovers, which would have negative macro and financial effects on many countries https://t.co/FflOu1bqI3

I have many of these

@JoelKatz The problem with thoses questions/answers, is that “what AI thinks is bad” is influenced by the ones instructing the AI on what is considered bad

[Brick @Krypto_Shell]

@KenAndresen2 @JoelKatz @KhaledElawadi All of this still ignores the freedom of interpretation the user instruction allows and the freedom of interpretation the manufacturers instructions allow.
And instructions are semantic, interpretation is subjective, each person has an accepted version of what is truth.

@JoelKatz You meant: SOLR cores, not solar camera. That where you see the price difference 🤔

@JoelKatz @JoelKatz Not so bad, atleast compared to creating a derivitive or S.P.V. of the asset and valuing that wrapper at the higher price while retail stares at “general public” exchange rates.

In other words prices an asset traded against JPYC Traded at ~3x less

@payment_infrast @EPC_SEPA I’m surprised they joined in on trying to reduce the valuation exposure of the underlying assets.

What's wild, about this is US stocks are now beating int'l stocks in every time frame: 3mo, YTD, 6mo, 1yr, 2yr, 3yr and of course 5yr and 10yr. Tbf tho the int'l run was a little longer than normal, but once again it was a short film.
