@aisherth Even if some of the basic services are sound. People would not opt out for a migration to Male’. The simplest. Shortest answer i could give. Only if they developed key focal islands in each atoll the problems would subside.

@aisherth To make matters worse. When taking loans, your land in island is not considered. Rather building area is considered for MVR 300 PER sqft. In comparison. Male’ land. MVR 4500 PER sqft as well as MVR 1200 for building area. Building area means eg: mvr 1200 is charger per floor.
