या निवडणुकीत अनेकांनी प्रत्यक्ष मैदानात उतरून काम केले. अनेक सहकाऱ्यांनी दिवस-रात्र मेहनत घेतली. महाविकास आघाडीतील सर्व घटक पक्षांचे नेते, पदाधिकारी, कार्यकर्ते, मित्रपरिवार, हितचिंतक आणि माझ्या विजयासाठी प्रामाणिकपणे प्रयत्न करणाऱ्या प्रत्येक हाताचे मी मनापासून आभार मानतो. आपल्या सर्वांच्या सामूहिक प्रयत्नांतून आणि पदवीधरांच्या विश्वासातून हा ऐतिहासिक टप्पा गाठता आला.

आपल्या विश्वासाला तडा जाऊ देणार नाही, आपल्या अपेक्षांकडे दुर्लक्ष होऊ देणार नाही आणि आपल्या प्रश्नांपासून दूर जाणार नाही, हा माझा प्रामाणिक संकल्प आहे.

When CJP was granted permission to protest, many were quick to float conspiracy theories that we were planted by the BJP.

Yesterday, the INDIA bloc held a massive protest, but there was no crackdown like the one we witnessed on October 10.

This is exactly how the govt plays us against each other. By treating different protests differently, they create suspicion and mistrust among people who are ultimately fighting for the same cause.

My only request to everyone is to see through these tactics. Today, they may allow one protest and crush another. Tomorrow, they could reverse the roles. The idea is to keep us doubting each other instead of questioning those in power.

Don’t let conspiracy theories divide us. Don’t fall into the trap of fighting among ourselves when we should be standing together.

The fight is against Gyanesh Kumar and those protecting him. Don’t lose sight of that.

West Bengal. Supreme Court-ordered Tribunals hearing SIR appeals.
22.21 lakh deleted voters fighting to get their names back.

More than a dozen Tribunal judges met on August 11. Their minutes, as reported by Indian Express, say the EC's portal:
Can't serve notices to parties.
Can't take extra documents from voters.
Can't hold virtual hearings.
Can't restore a deleted voter.
Can't even let the voter download the Tribunal's own order.

The judges' own words: "in spite of several requests and reminders"... a notice format they approved in May "has not seen the light of the day till date."

The scoreboard, from ECI's own Supreme Court filing:
38.31 lakh appeals filed. 1.26 lakh disposed by September 10.
Over 37 lakh still pending.
And the Assembly election? Already over.

Bro, imagine your father's pension suddenly stops. He appeals. The officer hears him and orders it restored. Then the clerk says, "Sorry uncle, the computer has no button for that." Five months later, he's still standing in the same line.

That's what Gyanesh Kumar's EC calls a remedy.
