A woman has just given birth.
Everybody is happy. Then suddenly, she starts bleeding.
This is postpartum haemorrhage, and when it happens, no one has time to ask where the drug, tranexamic acid or TXA is.
That drug, Tranexamic acid can help reduce deaths from bleeding when it is given early after PPH starts.
So if a facility is providing emergency obstetric care, TXA should not be something they start looking for when the emergency has started.
It should be there.
As a man, if your wife is preparing to give birth, ask if the facility has TXA available. Same thing if you’re pregnant and preparing for delivery.
Ask questions. Know what is available.
Prepare before the emergency comes.
RT so that expectant mothers and fathers can see this very important message.

TOO POOR TO SIN...
To the pauper, luxury is an infraction, "How can I spend N1M on ordinary shoe, will it walk me to the path of light and salvation?" Coming from someone Palmpay may shoot on sight for forging his death certificate over N10,000 loan.
"I can't cheat on my wife!"
Noble principle, no one should cheat at all, not even on themselves, but before you cast the first stone, ensure you can also afford the sin.
Like I warned Gbads, the serial contestant, he who is being fed shouldn't feed dogs, he failed to heed wise counsel, deemed himself man-enough, commissioned his third leg for horizontal refreshment outside sacred matrimony, angered mummy and the ungrateful dog was expelled to scavenge for crumbs, our dear potential Governor is now a social media Influencer, blocking critics with reckless abandon, AMEN.
He could also have been one of the interim saints too unpriviledged to sin who once firmly condemned the immorality of others only to the point they can also afford the sacrilege, and they become worse off. Till you can afford that N3M watch, you prejudge in vain your frugality;
Promiscuity is never pro bono, till you can sponsor the immorality, you may just be unintentionally decent, chastity may actually not be your calling.
A N200K phone in hands of a fellow whose entire networth is less than N1M, yet finds fault in a million Naira shoe gracing the feet of a Billionaire.
Every Activist is a phantom Mandela, an illusory Lee Kuan Yew, possessing imaginative mastery of Leadership and some mystic crystal ball of innovative solutions...The leaders can do no right in their eyes and all is wrong, evil and witless by their standards till they themselves find themselves in some position of authority, then we come to the unfortunate realization that the loudest critics are usually tyrants seeking opportunities.
Ask Samuel Doe, Ask Mugabe... Ordinary key to a movement's treasury given to the Auchi Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, our hijabist cashtivist became a pole dancer, almost stripping to the melody of bank alerts.
Football pundits are always Ferguson behind the Mic, until they actually get to manage a club, then Gary soon realized that management isn't Garri, Talk is Cheap.
Empty barrels are the loudest. Adam Smith Kalu has a financial model for every economic challenge only to conclude no one can own a home even on N1M monthly salary, our dear financial guru must have thought we all want to be neighbors to Linda or only mansions qualify to be called homes.
In all your getting, get understanding, so you grasp the realities that presidency in Nigeria isn't Papacy, you need not be knighted to govern. Capacity is the Key.
Good Morning Severally.
