Great podcast with two of the best - the “rebel coach” @pntrack & @KulaPerformance
The Network is Strong, Knows Fast and is Growing.
“Skate to where the puck is going to be.”
Stick with stiff-spine “anti-rotation” “anti-athletic” and keep crushing athletes… and you’re stuck where the puck used to be.
Understand, everyone is welcome to join the Network - but only when good and ready.
Revolutions don’t come from the top down.
Revolutions come from those brave enough to stand up for the truth - especially when that truth isn’t accepted by the establishment.

As @KulaPerformance said to @pntrack on his podcast (you should definitely watch), “Weck has gone so far down the rabbit hole…”.
So this level of depth can be difficult to understand - because it’s as deep as one can go internally for fullest systemic integration of ROTATIONAL Length & Strength.
No slack — strongest Coil.
When you take a WeckMethod cert, we teach you a much simpler set up anyone can do day one.
At lunch and after I teach anyone who wants to know (typically everyone) where it goes IF one is seeking “biomechanical completion”.
My own personal “athletic inadequacy” (can’t get paid to play) with my competitive drive to seek every advantage funded by “mailbox money” from the BOSU ball for 25+ years — these are the factors that enabled me to find this detailed depth of knowledge.
What I would say to anyone not yet ready to drill deepest — at the very least learn to locomote Head Over Foot Coiling the Core, which is actually more natural than being a blocky “stiff spine in neutral” guy.
Systemic Balance is (and should be) the fundamental standard to build athletic capacity upon.
So it is important to understand and acknowledge the “anti-rotation” foundation (the most important “core-stability” training we were told for 20+ years) was a mistake. A false foundation. The very root of “anti-athletic” movement.
Because it was so pervasive, legions of trainers/coaches were/are prescribing that which provides no athletic advantage (strong argument it is athletic disadvantage) for decades.
Reality can bite. And accountability and change can be very hard to shoulder.
SIDE/SIDE/CENTER can be scaled for anyone. THIS LEVEL OF DEPTH isn’t essential for those not seeking 100% realization of athletic movement skill.
Have a look at Ben Johnson, Cristiano Ronaldo & Barry Sanders in the slides IF you care to see the athletic precedent for the global pattern (Wing/Spring) that gifted athletes will “figure-out” naturally.
Because it is how the human structure operates/functions optimally.
If THIS is just too much for anyone right now (emotionally), buy the Power Vest which produces athletic advantage with Zero Learning or Understanding necessary.
I know that accepting the unique efficacy of the Power Vest can be difficult (emotionally) for the die-hard stiff-spine guys who hate the BOSU ball (because I created both)…
To them I’d say perhaps it’s time to look in the mirror. Do you see a man devoted solely to your athlete’s best interest? Or do you see a man more concerned/afraid about what your peers may think about you?
I’m not the enemy.
I’m just a guy who shares because I care — who is willing to stand on and with truth regardless what anyone thinks.
Clock, scale, measuring tape & points on the scoreboard. Judge, jury & executioner.
Learn to see past personalities and focus on the prize. YOUR ATHLETES BEST INTERESTS.
Recorded a long and lively talk with Brian Kula. The podcast will be published soon!

One of the best coaches in know!
Likely the biggest transformation / improvement project i have been involved in. So proud of Hailey & the way she trusted a new process. One that was very different from what she had experienced before. She is poised for an epic senior year.
PRIORITIZE SPEED 💯‼️
Learned the basics of the bounce-fire series from @KulaPerformance at the @universalspeedrating summit and have been implementing ever since that weekend with my athletes.
It’s challenging and checks a tons of boxes as you run through the different variations.
Typically I’ll learn something, test on myself, and then test on my athletes I’ve been working with for an extended amount of time.
I’ve seen improvements with my athletes that I’ve exposed to the bounce-fire consistently and it builds one of the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of athleticism, coordination!
