Chaired a meeting to review the operations of the Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi Branch, and the St. John Ambulance Association. These institutions embody a proud legacy of humanitarian service and have, for decades, played a vital role in providing essential healthcare, emergency response, and relief to those in need.

Reviewed their operational roadmap and discussed the need for a comprehensive overhaul to further enhance efficiency, strengthen institutional capacity, and improve service delivery. We also deliberated on measures to make the St. John Ambulance services more effective and responsive, with particular emphasis on ensuring the availability of adequately trained personnel.

To further strengthen and expand their invaluable humanitarian initiatives - including the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Abhiyan, first-aid training programmes, winter relief operations, and assistance for Divyangjans - assured the Society of full support in facilitating resources, including CSR partnerships, for their future endeavours.

Reviewed a detailed presentation by @dtptraffic today, along with @CPDelhi and senior officials. It is encouraging to see the focused efforts and strategic interventions being undertaken to improve traffic management across Delhi.

Targeted action to address major congestion points, combined with continuous engineering interventions and technology-driven solutions, has begun to deliver incremental improvements. Strict enforcement against violations such as wrong-side driving and unauthorized parking must remain a sustained priority.

It is also encouraging to see the citizen-centric Project Sangam being taken forward to strengthen engagement with local residents and develop area-specific solutions.

Directed the team to sustain this momentum with a continued focus on future-ready infrastructure, intelligent traffic management systems, and the adoption of advanced technologies. Assured @dtptraffic of our full support in its ongoing efforts to deliver a seamless, safe, and efficient mobility experience for every citizen of Delhi.

Drawing inspiration from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji’s vision of a #ViksitBharat, I urged the students to remember that leadership stems from clarity of thought, adaptability, integrity, and the ability to inspire trust - not from the exercise of authority. I encouraged these future leaders to think beyond conventional silos and harness the power of education, innovation, and enterprise to contribute meaningfully to 🇮🇳 journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Honoured to address the Marshal of the Air Force Memorial Lecture today and pay tribute to the legendary Sardar Arjan Singh. His extraordinary life was closely intertwined with many of the defining moments in the journey of independent India.

From his exemplary leadership during the 1965 Indo-Pak War, for which he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, to his distinguished service as a diplomat and later as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, his life embodied the highest standards of professionalism, patriotism, and public service.

His enduring legacy of humility, unwavering integrity, and remarkable composure under pressure continues to inspire generations. The finest tribute we can offer this exceptional soldier and statesman is to uphold these very ideals in our own conduct and service to the nation.

It is a humbling privilege to serve as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, a position once held by this illustrious son of Mother 🇮🇳. His life and example remain a constant source of inspiration and guidance.

Hon’ble @LtGovDelhi, Sardar @SandhuTaranjitS, conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing rejuvenation works at East Delhi's Sanjay Lake.

To transform the 52-acre waterbody and its surrounding 165-acre protected forest into a resilient blue-green space, Hon’ble LG directed @DelhiJalBoard to expedite pipeline repairs for a consistent supply of treated water from the Dallupura STP.

The project by @official_dda includes geo-textile embankment strengthening, bio-swales, aerators, and the plantation of 5,000 native trees to enrich the area's biodiversity.

Visited Sanjay Lake in East Delhi today to review the ongoing restoration and rejuvenation works. During the on-site inspection, officials from Delhi Development Authority briefed me on the phased action plan to revive this vital 52-acre waterbody and its surrounding 165-acre protected forest.

To transform this important blue-green asset into a resilient, all-weather, and pristine recreational space, several key initiatives are being undertaken. I directed the expedited repair of the pipeline operated by @DelhiJalBoard to ensure a steady supply of treated water from the Dallupura Sewage Treatment Plant.

Continuous de-weeding, algae removal, and the strengthening of embankment slopes using geo-textile technology are already underway to protect and rejuvenate the waterbody. The upcoming phases will focus on channelizing stagnant water, installing bio-swales to enhance groundwater recharge, undertaking bio-remediation measures, and setting up aerators and fountains to improve dissolved oxygen levels.

Additionally, the ecological biodiversity of the area will be enriched through the plantation of 5,000 native trees. We are committed to restoring Sanjay Lake to its former glory and ensuring that it serves as a clean, vibrant, and ecologically rich public space for the people of Delhi while strengthening the city’s environmental sustainability and resilience for generations to come.

A profound manifestation of Bharat’s ancient civilizational ethos of ‘Sarve Santu Niramaya’ (सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः), Yoga has evolved into a global movement through the visionary leadership of Shri @narendramodi Ji , inspiring millions across the world to pursue holistic well-being, harmony, and inner peace.

Following the live telecast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s inspiring address, I joined fellow participants in the Yoga session. It was particularly heartening to witness women taking a leading role in this movement, while also seeing growing participation from senior citizens, for whom Yoga serves as a powerful means to lead active, dignified, and healthy lives.

The overwhelming enthusiasm and collective spirit on display reaffirmed Yoga’s role as a unifying force that transcends age, background, and geography, fostering both physical vitality and mental resilience.

Chaired a meeting of the @official_DDA at the Yamuna Sports Complex to review the Action Taken Report on critical environmental and infrastructure projects across Delhi. In line with the vision of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji for a sustainable and world-class capital, detailed assessments were undertaken on the Yamuna Riverfront development and the comprehensive plan to revitalise Yamuna Bazar and the adjoining ghats.

The review also evaluated the time-bound restoration of 101 water bodies under Phase-I, including flagship projects in Dwarka and Rohini. Additionally, progress of major socio-economic infrastructure projects across Delhi, including hospitality, healthcare, luxury retail, and logistics hubs, was closely scrutinised.

To ensure absolute preparedness ahead of the monsoon, the status of the Desilting Action Plan 2026 across critical zones and water-logging locations was rigorously monitored, alongside the operational readiness of the Central Flood Control Room before the June 15 deadline.

Timely execution of these initiatives remains fundamental to building a resilient, progressive, and #ViksitDelhi.
