Seth Mwabe Okwanyo, also known as Seth Onyango Odhiambo, is a 26-year-old Kenyan man, and former IT student from Meru University of Science and Technology, who comes from a humble rural background in Wasimbete ward, Suna West, Migori County. His father, Okwanyo Mwabe, is a Seventh-day Adventist church pastor.
Seth Mwabe dropped out of school around 2018 during his second year of pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. His father stated that he had paid Seth’s university fees and that him dropping out was not due to financial inability.
According to Seth's account, “the system did not favor him.” Mwabe says he grew increasingly frustrated with traditional academic structures, preferring hands-on, practical learning over standard coursework, and felt he could do better advancing his skills independently.
Following his dropout, he completely shifted to self-education, utilizing online forums, YouTube, and independent sandboxes. By late 2018, he was already fully operating and branding himself as an independent, self-taught cybersecurity engineer.
Mwabe generated income and notoriety in the white-hat tech space early on, notably winning a bank-sponsored cybersecurity hackathon challenge in 2019, and running a security blog that attracted attention.
Seth Mwabe’s lifestyle was characterized by low-key, high-end tech-centric living. Rather than flaunting his newfound wealth at clubs or on public social media feeds, he invested heavily in creating a state-of-the-art tech sanctuary.
He lived in Tatu City, an upscale, controlled mixed-use development in Kiambu County. The premium residential area is highly secure and favored by affluent professionals, which kept his day-to-day life secluded from public scrutiny.
In late July 2025, Africent Money Transfer Limited (Afrisend) noticed a major discrepancy while conducting its periodic financial reconciliation with Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) and the PesaLink network. While DTB’s records showed that 38 automated transactions totaling KSh 11.4 million had successfully cleared and been transferred to external recipient accounts, Africent’s internal ledger showed absolutely no record of these transactions.
According to the firm's records, 11.4 million shillings vanished into thin air through transactions that one side recorded, but the other side completely missed.
In a normal, secure system, the process follows these strict steps:
Afrisend’s system automatically generates a command (a request) to move money.
At the exact same microsecond, Afrisend’s internal ledger records the transaction.
The bank (DTB) receives the command, verifies it, and releases the money to the PesaLink network.
Because Afrisend has zero record of these commands, it meant the bank received requests that looked like they came from Afrisend, but were actually injected by a hacker or a rogue insider bypassing the firm's main books.
The attacker exploited vulnerabilities and bypassed Afrisend's internal monitoring mechanisms entirely. The bank (DTB) received 38 commands that looked completely authorized and valid, so it processed the KSh 11.4 million via PesaLink.
Because the suspect then "cleaned" Afrisend's internal ledger by completely deleting the system and database logs, frisend's dashboards showed everything was perfectly normal. The Afrisend team was left completely "blind" inside their own software.
In cybersecurity, this is known as covering your tracks. By wiping the system and database logs, the attacker ensured that the Afrisend team couldn't see the theft happening in real-time, nor could they easily use their own internal system to see who authorized it or where it went.

Shaquille O'Neal looked his six kids dead in the eye and told them they were not touching a single cent of his $400 million empire unless they earned two college degrees first. He made it clear: "We ain't rich. I'm rich."
The best part is that he actually enforces it.
When his son Myles wanted to be a DJ, Shaq made him present a full business model before funding a single piece of equipment. Today, Myles holds a Las Vegas residency.
His son Shareef is working a real job for his dad at Reebok.
His oldest daughter Taahirah graduated Magna Cum Laude and went straight into corporate communications.
And just this past May, his son Shaqir graduated from college and immediately announced he was going back for his second degree just to meet his father's baseline standard.
We live in a culture where parents bend over backward to give their kids everything they never had, but in the process, they strip away all their drive and character. Shaq realized that handing his children everything would ultimately teach them absolutely nothing about the value of hard work.
Fame and wealth didn't stop him from being a traditional father who demands accountability. How many other parents actually have the backbone to raise their kids with this kind of standard today?
Jimi Wanjigi has encouraged Kenyans to invest in coffee farming, highlighting ongoing reforms aimed at removing exploitative cartels and ensuring local farmers benefit more from the coffee value chain.
"The return on a coffee tree is going to emerge from now to the future. Kenyan coffee is the best in the world. The price of coffee is going up to Ksh 1800 per Kg." - @JimiWanjigi
Looking at the abandoned grave of late Johanna Ng'eno and the mother by his side should teach you a lesson as a man.
Your friends will move on with their lives, your wife and concubines will delete your numbers and continue with their life as you rot in the grave.
As per today,1kg of cherry is selling at 3400/=.
An acre with 640 trees producing averagely 5kgs of cherry like ours in the 2nd harvest will give you 3,200kgs.We don’t sell cherry but imagine doing so!
Good day☕️
Hiyo stori ya Dr Mutiso who was assassinated yesterday is sad but weird.
We fall in love then separate in a messy divorce where the court gives you our house in Kilimani and other properties. In the process and divorce proceedings you insult our lawyer who sues you for defamation and is awarded 1.5M by the courts. You can’t afford to pay that 1.5 because you spent a lot in courts fighting me and then a few years later our divorce lawyer is shot 4 times in the streets by gun men.
I then fall in love with that late lawyer’s wife and we get married and since you can’t pay the 1.5M to a dead man and you can’t afford it, the house you were awarded in our divorce is seized and awarded to my new wife so I get it back. Now my new wife ends up gunned down.
FYI, KALRO has developed 3 new improved indigenous dual-purpose chicken breeds that mature at 4½ months, with cocks reaching approximately 2 kg at 4 months and produce 250–280 eggs/ bird/yr and adapt well to all climatic conditions, including ASAL areas.
Remember the man captured in the NTV exposé trying to set the DCP campaign truck on fire? He has been identified as Gerald Masai from Kangundo Constituency in Machakos County. I am requesting for more information about him especially classmates, or those who know him....
Our secret cameras captured them repeatedly moving, positioning themselves strategically.
Also visible at the meeting was the Communications Authority of Kenya chairman Charles Karondo.

Stephen Mwagiru found 2,500 hectares of Kiambu coffee land that a Belgian firm wanted to exit.
He didn't have $80 million.
So he brought in a CBK governor and a billionaire.
Then went looking for the actual money. Read the full story: https://t.co/Kuea6oW7zY
