Remember when teachers used to take us to the library and librarians taught us how to conduct proper research? We’d then be assigned a topic and expected to consult at least three books before writing a report. We need to bring that back and keep tablets out of classrooms.
If I’m paying for a streaming service, there shouldn’t be ads. Not on Disney+, Amazon, Hulu, or anywhere else. Ads belong on the free tiers of these platforms. If advertisers are already paying to put ads in front of me, why am I paying to sit through them too?

twitter’s new algo is weird to me because you used to get an actually good sense of what everyone is talking about. now they just pull the topic you like and just bombard you w/ every tweet about it
