so many people train for an analytically perfect swing. nothing wrong with that, have to have a “good swing”. However, if you train 1 swing against 1 pitch, how many tools in the toolbox do you have?

QUICK UPDATE:

Hey everyone, earlier this week, Blast Motion was forced to make a series of cuts, and unfortunately, I was one of those laid off.

It was certainly surprising - I really enjoyed working at Blast (especially with MLB Bat Tracking now public), and I will always be super grateful for my time there.

I learned a lot about player development, player evaluation, and what to do (and what not to do) when running a tech company. ,

I will always be an advocate for the @Blast_Bsbl product - I think every position player should have a glove, bat, spikes, and a Blast Sensor when they walk up to the field.

With all that being said (and because baseball-tech employees don't normally have representation), I'm using this post to let everyone know that I am now a free agent.

Thanks to everyone who engaged with my Blast content up to this point. I only ask that you don't stop doing so.
