@0inklittlepiggy@ColeWarins@McKensitII Brother, I’m rappel master qualified in the Army. He’s got the main ropes running through a grigri (pictured) that allows him to brake in front of himself. There’s 1 set of ropes that go from an anchor point, through this belay device, and to the ground
@24TheCup@Captain92394@jeff_gluck Tons of lead changes, tire wear, multiple different strategies. I don’t know what else you want in a race. Think you’re alone in your opinion.
@ColeWarins@McKensitII That’s cuz in the army we just use tension through the carabiner with our break hand in the small of our back. There are other braking systems that have all the equipment in front of you. His either broke or wasn’t set up properly.
Not for nothing Jemele... I am so fed up with you trying to vilify me. This isn't the first time you've done it.
I have been nothing other than cordial and professional to you for years, and you lay some veiled attack on me because I pose a question from a male perspective about an issue involving 2 male athletes facing a similar situation and deciding to handle it differently.
You want to and should look at it from the perspective of a woman. That's fine with me.
But don't use that as an excuse to suggest that I am doing something wrong for looking at it from the POV of a male athlete.
That's bush-league. And you know it.
Go score cheap points elsewhere.
