@SaffronOlive Wsh this pauper wave was backed by the wizard competitive circuit. The format is healthy enough to support the grinders. And accessible enough to give a good entry point to the influx of players.
@Mengu09@DubuTCG Rn in the Orlando Pauper community there's a hate for aggro vs a hate for control. The terns are used loosely but "aggro slop" and "control slop" seem to be thrown around a lot. Thoughts?
@KingScarletYGO At the end of the day it's a game, and depending on how you approach games you approach commander. Think of it kinda like choosing what board game to play. You might want to mess around with some uno or politic like Catan, or sweat your brains out in some Monopoly. Your call.
@MikeWingerii This is an interesting point! From your perspective, what are some secular values that are forced onto people? I'm curious and want to make it make sense in my head, you know?
@MikeWingerii Then we get Mathew 18: 18 talking about binding and loosening, my mentor has worked with me to understand this concept but I'm curious as to how Mathew 18: 19 interconnects with it. Could you give your understanding for my studies?
@MikeWingerii Hey Mike, peace be with you, and I pray that your efforts for the Body of Christ be accounted to you as good works in the day of judgement.
@Corey_Burkhart making a Grixis Control deck in EDH as part of my Homage to my favorite decks and pilots of MTG history. Does this commander get the Burkhart seal of approval?
@BWheelerMTG I have a friend who roughly believes that Spikes can't engage with Commander outside of cEDH. I disagreed thinking that Spikes could engage with casual commander by redefining their metric of mastery away from winning. I'd love your perspective on this dialogue.
@AndyFloury Built him a couple of ways, once all creatures companion and once just an aristocrats deck. The distribution is really fun to math out but it ultimately comes down to vibes and recursion. All in all he's really fun to spin wheels with but miserable from a time equity viewpoint.
Disappointed to find out that the set I was most excited for this year apparently does not matter.
Have we ever had spoilers for a standard set outpace the spoilers for the preceeding set before?
@OneMoreGameMTG So itโs busted like we can all see that but flavor wise build it with sac to eventually cast away this cursed object or build up a lot of burden then pitch it to someone else with offering effects sounds cute
