Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
Most people say “God” without realizing the Bible never uses that word.
“God” isn’t Hebrew. It’s not Greek. It’s not even ancient.
It’s a Germanic placeholder - a vague title borrowed to fill in for wildly different names:
– elohim (plural gods)
– el (a singular god)
– elyon (the Most High)
– Yhwh (the name of one deity)
– theos (Greek for deity, used in the NT)
– Abba (the intimate Father Jesus revealed)
All of that flattened into one meaningless syllable: “God.”
That’s not translation - it’s erasure.
And worse: everyone who says “God” imagines someone different.
Your “God” may be loving and gentle.
Mine may be violent and jealous.
Someone else’s may demand blood.
So who are we even talking about?
“God” has become a mirror. We each see what we want.
But the Bible doesn’t use mirrors - it uses names.
Names with history, personality, and track record.
The cost of ignoring this?
We confuse Jesus’ Father with Yhwh.
We assume all “gods” in the Bible are the same being.
We flatten divine plurality into bland monotheism.
We lose the force of Jesus calling Him “Abba.”
Learn just five Hebrew or Greek words, and everything sharpens.
"The kindest people are not born that way, they are made. They are the ones that have experienced so much at the hands of life, they are the ones who have dug themselves out of the dark, who have fought to turn every loss into a lesson.
The kindest people do not just exist – they choose to soften where circumstance has tried to harden them, they choose to believe in goodness, because they have seen firsthand why compassion is so necessary.
They have seen firsthand why tenderness is so important in this world."

Canada's constitution has a dangerous loophole.
And if Mark Carney becomes Prime Minister, he might be the one to use it.
It's a constitutional power not used since World War I.
Here's the unprecedented crisis nobody sees coming:
I hope every country is taking note of what’s happening in Canada right now.
I am so embarrassed by how our government is handling the Trump situation. Using it as a tool to clamp down on more corrupt power and lie to the world about who they are.
