Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race.
Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.
HR Manager: The company is requesting that all employees have their work emails on their phones.
Gen Z: Cool, who should I bill?
HR Manager: Pardon me?
Gen Z: For the portion of my phone they will be using? Unless we're getting new phones — you know I wouldn't say no to an upgrade.
HR Manager: No compensation will be provided.
Gen Z: Why do they want our work emails on our phones?
HR Manager: So you have access to your emails at all times.
Gen Z: But I have access during my work hours — that's what my laptop is for.
HR Manager: Well, in case we need to get a hold of you outside of those hours.
Gen Z: Ohhh, so what the company really wants is for us to work 24/7 and use our personal devices and phone plans to make that happen.
HR Manager: (Confused silence)
Gen Z: Yeah, that's going to be a no for me, but thanks for asking.
HR Manager: (Ends the impromptu briefing.)
Gen Z workplace behavior is driving HR absolutely insane.
But you know what they are doing?
They are saying out loud what the older generation has been thinking for decades.
They just don’t care about the consequences yet. And honestly, good for them.
Corporate spent decades convincing the older generation that working 24/7 and unpaid overtime using own resources was a sign of loyalty and commitment. Gen Z showed up and said prove it.
And corporate can’t, so now they are scrambling.
Why don’t they want to commit? Why don’t they care about the company culture? Why are they so entitled?
They are not entitled. They just watched the older generation get laid off after 20 years of 'loyalty' and 'commitment' and said, yep, I am not doing that.
Gen Z workplace energy is exactly what corporate deserves.
Just Powerful:
“Anybody, especially Black people who are saying that Charlie Kirk was racist,
was not for Black people and did not know Black people.
I am 💯 convinced that you have never sat through a full debate of his or watched any of his debates with a sound understanding,
Black people are always quick to want to be a victim of a situation, that they can’t thrive…”
Will anybody in media talk about Austin Metcalf the way they talked about George Floyd? What’s more of a tragedy, a criminal overdosing on fentanyl, or a Christian, high-school, straight-A athlete murdered at a track meet?
Selena Gomez needs to listen up! This lady tried to stay calm, but it's tough when she see the way Selena acts.
Here's the thing: a lot of immigrants in the U.S. are here illegally, meaning they broke the law to get here. Some are from Mexico, and they're being sent back because they broke the law. But when she goes online waving a Mexican flag, crying "my people," when she was born in Texas, NOT Mexico is embarrassing especially when she has all these American rights and protections.
She's rich, famous, yet she wants more attention. Does she just jump on whatever's trending? Where were her tears for the 400,000 missing kids at the border? Or for those women and children who've been hurt? What about the tragedies in places like Aurora, Colorado, or in North Carolina and LA?
The country is spending billions of tax dollars on people who aren't even citizens. It's something to think about! And it was a good move for her to take down that video; she knew it was a mistake. A little research would've shown her that.
The UK will throw you in prison if you retweet this video of Elon and Joe Rogan exposing the UK…
“Several Thousand people in the UK have been given prison sentences for social media posts”
So what ever you do, DO NOT RETWEET IT
I don't believe a single word the FBI is saying about Matthew Livelsberge and the Cybertruck incident.
The entire narrative makes absolutely ZERO sense to me.
From the paper passport and paper ID miraculously surviving the explosion and a fire so intense, his body was burned beyond recognition?
To him supposedly shooting himself right before he was going blow himself up anyway? Huh?
To what his family is saying about him, to his released recent texts which doesn't fit the mindset of someone about to do this sort of thing, and on, and on, and on.
My BS meter is off the charts on this one.
