So the reveal that they ACTUALLY got their s%$t together and built a proper Super Robot came off as a genuine surprise.

@WazpRanger @strongest_human Most final mecha either try to cram the entire mass into a vaguely humanoid shape, or chicken out and have it be a platform the other mecha stand on.

I think the reason Kyuukyoku Daizyujin works is because it's the only mecha to find a happy medium between the two extremes

I may be going out on a limb, but to me A LOT of the show seems to be an allegory for neurodivergence and mental health in general.

I remember during the infrastructure bill he was singing the praises of Manchin and Sinema solely b.c. they were on the opposite side of AOC and the squad.

@theserfstv The reason why their actions seem contradict their words was because we've fundamentally misunderstood what they're actually saying.

It's not 'values' in an ethical sense, its 'value' in the economic sense. They expect family and children to ~provide~ value to them.

@theserfstv To them a 'family' is nothing but a factory to produce copies of themselves. A woman with a will of her own is a faulty 'machine' A child who doesn't turn out exactly like you is a faulty 'product'

Once you understand that mindset, you understand EVERYTHING about these people.

@velodus It's ill-defined nature isn't a bug, it's a feature. It's an umbrella term that can mean anything from 'kids these days...' to 'Jews control the media'. It's Dark Intersectionality, trying to frame unity and empathy with each other as proof that we're conspiring against them.

@GenePark Considering how the opening narration shows that Leon is CLEARLY still traumatized by the events of RE2, I almost feel like they're implying Leon's "action hero" one liners are a defense mechanism he developed to disassociate from the horrors around him.
