I think parents of autistic/adhd children should be offered assessments themselves. Families I have / do work with increasingly are realising that they are ND too.
This was the response from @GreatOrmondSt 👇 which I followed and the formal advice I had was it had to be raised further as i STILL don’t know who those 4 extra adults where that were privy to my children’s personal information😳then I get the GDPR blunder above & now stalked 😳
I raised concerns after staff had 4 extra adults in an appt room without notice nor introduction. Then sent a clinic letter for my 2 youngest kids asking asking for their sisters medical records without even informing the sister or seeking consent! @ICOnews is this a breach?
@GOSHCharity 👋 please can you advise why you searched my LinkedIn account after I had to make a complaint about inappropriate behaviour around consent / GDPR from @GOSH_intl 🧐 very disturbing behaviour if I’m honest 😳😬 I’m very open if you have a question please just ask 👍
I am constantly updating my training session now on 85 slides but…feedback is always great so clearly it’s landing!!
“I would say that was probably the most unique training I have ever experienced.”
“The best training I’ve had in nearly 20 years.”
“I don’t think that’s enough, everyone in society needs to see it as some point.”
I’ve achieved a bit since Sept, I think it’s safe I’ve smashed it.
From giving evidence in court, to trying to change the law around disabled badges, key notes/consultancy/training in wonderful cities like London, Dubai, Sheffield.
Oh and published 2 x books!
Still I rise.
@MummaSend@RBKC@AdamHug@cllrKTS@RBKCMayor WHAT am I watching?? How can this be happening in a classroom? As an adult I would be scared in this space never mind as a child! What is going on in this school???
@MummaSend@RBKC@AdamHug@cllrKTS@RBKCMayor I really hope if your child is in attendance you have raised this as I honestly feel for any child in this school - i really cannot understand why they think this is acceptable and I can’t stop thinking about the kid shouting ‘teacher, teacher’ where are the staff?
A significant amount of children are scared to attend their school due to bullying and peer on peer abuse! #SEND children are targets in this school and are being failed because they are #Afraid#Scared@RBKC@AdamHug@cllrKTS@rbkcmayor
Thank you so much for accommodating my random visit. I love seeing different schools, you learn so much. I’ve heard Sam talk about his approach & to see it was amazing. The children were utterly delightful. Such chatterboxes the ones that showed me around.
I have lots of resources on my website. This thread will just outline them all in one place to help people with signposting. They are all free & available for you to use.
@bbcquestiontime Private schools can absorb the cost by doing what state schools have had to do. Bigger class sizes, smaller curriculum offer, cut extra curricular activities, cut under subscribed subjects, use non teaching staff wherever possible, use TAs for cover.
The charts below
Average salary for Headteacher jobs is £42,500.
The Private School Pay List, released today, also shows that the earnings of some headteachers has risen above £300,000 for the first time, according to The Sunday Times.
