@manasvvi @urlichsanais a Developer Advocate is someone whose job is to help developers be successful with a platform or a technology. Closely related to my role, which is Technical Community Manager but eventually I'd like to get into DevRel.

@urlichsanais I think it's fine to not want to, but whether or not that's feasible depends on the makeup of your community/engineering team, and whether your company hosts large-scale events or just attends or sponsors them. Going where the community is is part of working in this space, tho
