Just want to throw this out there as we approach🏈fall.
A 200-lb high school fullback who is still💪growing & developing🦴needs between 4,000-5,000⚡️calories a day in-season.
So, if you're unsure why your HS athlete can't maintain weight let alone gain it, here is perspective.
Thank you @BGO_KY and Cam Deckett for conducting temperature and symptom checks this morning for our @LCABoysSoccer and @LCA_GirlsSoccer beginning summer workouts. Socially distant workouts, but its great to have kids back on campus. @LCAKYEagles @HLpreps #WeAreLCA
Parents/athletes! The KHSAA physical date will NOT be extended. Athletes will need a CURRENT physical before they are allowed to participate in athletics! Keep in mind it may be harder to schedule an appt, please plan accordingly.

With the dead period gone, and activities starting sooner, that means athletic physicals will be needed once these activities start! We don’t want you to miss out, so make sure you are prepared! #weareLCA#KeepEmHealthy
We are excited for sports to return, but the need for caution is imperative! B prepared for 2020-2021 season to look and feel very different. Everything we will have to do is for the safety of the student-athletes, our staff, our school, and our community!

"Our hearts are broken for you. This was supposed to be different. You weren't supposed to be at home. You were supposed to be out on the field. And we were supposed to be there too, cheering you on the entire season." https://t.co/ua55AzZisg
As sports are canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19, athletes need to make sure that they are ready for their sports once they start back up. See post from Cam Deckett, MS, ATC.

Stay informed! Know what the symptoms of COVID-19 actually are.
There is reason for concern, but not for outright panic. We will get through this.
