This week has been a successful start to our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program! We will be serving elementary students through this grant for the 2nd year.
We were excited to receive locally grown watermelons from Big Daddy Farm. 🍉

🚌 Beep beep! Buster the Bus made a stop at our elementary schools this week! Buster and his friend Tim Weimer shared with K-3 Ss how to stand safely at the bus stop, sit safely on the bus, recognize the danger zone, safely cross the bus area, and so much more!
Reminder- ALL LCS students will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge once again this school year! 🎉 This is possible through the Community Eligibilty Provision.
Extra items will be available for purchase. Parents can set up an account through https://t.co/fxPSindSXO.
We are so proud of our students, Zain Gilchrist ELHS and Aniya Ortiz HHS, and chaperone, Emma Ellis LCHS, who were chosen for the Daikin Cultural Experience this summer.
They spent seven days learning about the Japanese culture and Daikin operations.
Thank you Daikin!
👏 Thank you Lawrence Medical Center for your annual donation of medical supplies to School Health Services. The supplies are used for our emergency response GO Bags at all school sites.
Local partnerships are our favorite! ❤️
