Good news. I just found out that my state of Virginia just got some salt to put on the roads. Thank goodness.

I just got done yesterday removing some ice in our driveway and now the driveway is covered in snow. And the road in front of our house is covered in snow. And I just found out my state of Virginia is out of salt to cover the roads with.
