After this from @politico , I wanna know who does the research on emissions for these plane trips during campaign season...
"The leaders, Johnson & Jeffries have been circling the country for the last six weeks, raising hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign donations."
Dear @AmericanAir, I am unable to find a number to call your representatives to discuss our recent trip. You seem to point me toward more places on the website, but nothing where I can speak with a human. I've had luck with DM's before, so trying this on...
Stan is holding the line in Austin to protect rural families from the governor and those in his posse who quit caring about us years ago. Proud to be on #TeamLambert
Love your kid.
No matter how you differ. Love your kid.
Tell them you do.
Show them you do.
Make sure they know,
even when you don’t love their choices,
even when they don’t share your convictions,
that you love them
and you are there for them.
Right there for them.
Thanks to Chase Schuchard, a Cotton Board Alternate Member, who farms south of Roscoe, Texas, for showing Christi around his farms morning. It’s been hot and dry this summer for most of Texas, but Chase has a few fields of irrigated cotton he’s optimistic about harvesting.
others have pointed out but since the Titanic is mainstream rn, it’s a good time to talk about why the Titanic sinking is actually a great example of why DEI matters
and not the way you may think it does
@jamesdecker2006 Same principle as the group dinner where people want to pay for their own dinner, not pitch in evenly for the group. Ever been to one of those?
I was thinking this morning how we’re all disciples of someone. Of some entity. Some doctrine. I was thinking how quickly you can tell these days which news networks we’re discipled by. I’m not just talking about one in particular. Take your pick. We the people have become we the parrots. No nuance. No critical thinking. No inconvenient listening. No attempts to understand other views. Just parrots.
We have chosen the narrow way alright. Just not the narrow way Jesus meant. His narrow way opens wide our heart’s capacity to love (even our enemies!) and our mind’s capacity to consider others as more important than ourselves. If we hate more people and spew more derision than we did 5 years ago, we may believe in Jesus but make no mistake. We are not his disciples.
@brandibuzzard I have a lot of issues with vegetable water as milk. Taking out crops for almond trees, over planting soybeans, etc. At least oats are the least offensive on the list.
Also, if you can’t have dairy products for health reasons, I understand and I’m glad you have alternatives.
