Bodily autonomy should be a fundamental right. Cis or trans. And if something as big as puberty changing their body causes such distress to a child or teenager? They should have every right to put that on hold for a few years until they can make a more permanent choice (or not).

News that the #BBC are banning some journalists from attending Pride is highly disturbing, and is not helped by singling out trans people. It all but amounts to forcing #LGBT+ journalists to be silent on who they are and discrimination they face. It’s a journalistic #section28

Today is #IntersexAwarenessDay, a day that hopes to highlight an often forgotten, stigmatised and medicalised group. They face challenges unique to intersex people, their voices silenced. Not all Intersex people see themselves as #LGBT+ but we stand in solidarity regardless.
