@StacyCaySlays@nicolenyte Oh forgot this in my initial response. There are LGBTQIAP OB/GYN, Surrogates, Doulas. We exist everywhere and we are THRILLED to support our people.
@StacyCaySlays@nicolenyte Please know, that LGBTQIAP communities can turn into that extended family support network. I've watched it happen local to me & it's a beautiful thing indeed!
@estrojenniferr I used to hang out with the guys when I lived as a girl. One boyfriend of mine bragged about cheating on me right in front of me. He forgot I was there as I was "one of the guys."
I dumped him, calmly, right then. His buddies said he was the girl because he threw a fit!
@TheLetterTen Always knew I was a boy - didn't believe I wasn't "a real boy" til I was 8. That's when I saw my brother pee behind a bush & got that the grown-ups who had said I wasn't a boy were right.
Was 29 when I found out transition was possible, 34 when I started transition. 50 now.
@JohnDeputy7@MDonahueforIA@laurenboebert The president isn't allowed to declassify documents just by saying he did. There's a process, and none of these documents that drump had were marked as declassified.
@TheFoxyPrincess I understand where you're coming from. Pre transition, I could only see my own death & the horror of being buried as 'her'. Now, I see friends who see Me, my grown children who see the real me. Loving partners (I'm polyam) who never seek out 'her'. Learning to love myself now!
@ErinInTheMorn I don't know you. You don't know me. I'm a 50 year old trans guy, new to Twitter, who is both a parent and grandparent. Please, keep sharing, because there is no need network that will share honest info about our lives - trans lives. It's important to do!
@CordyHaig@ErinInTheMorn Do you have ANY idea how many people put the burden of THEIR 'grief' on the trans person's shoulders? It's not the trans person's weight to carry. Grieve if you must, for someone that you expected to be one way, who isn't that way, but don't make the trans person carry it.
@CordyHaig@ErinInTheMorn Dad has been given time enough to grieve.
He's being petty now, choosing to write a check in a way that's going to make her have to jump through hoops to get her reimbursement.
Dad is acting childish, refusing to write her name on payment for a gift he had her buy.
@CAMOKAT6@Yvonne_Biology@theFoxFisher Government doesn't agree with you. My state ID & Birth certificate both say male. I'm marked as male by social security & my passport says male. So I guess you can alter your sex!
