We are thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate with ELCT Schools across Tanzania. It represents the trust we have finally earned after years of continuous learning and re-learning in order to provide what truly corresponds to actual needs.
This week (January 27–30, 2026), we have been privileged to engage with Heads of Church Schools in the Education Annual General Meeting (Arusha).
We focus on encouraging school-based holistic assessment of children’s learning —mind, heart and practices.
Today, on January 22, as part of Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) series, we’re challenging teachers working at ELCT Iringa Diocese to give up violent school norms and classroom practices. They complete activities to reflect on how to raise and educate compassionate human beings.
Teaching is evidence-based practice informed of solid science—how learners acquire, process and retain knowledge for the future. Between January 19-24, 2026 ELCT Iringa Diocese entrusted us with amazing teachers working in Diocese schools to reflect on the science of learning.
Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) helps teachers to create safe space for children to understand and regulate their own and other people’s emotions. The desired outcome is teachers’ capacity to model empathy and compassion! If FEZA Schools had it, what is your school waiting?
We have the pleasure to announce our new product: Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) for Teachers. Informed of realities in Tanzanian schools, this program addresses the need for more Humane Approaches to Learning. We’re full booked in ‘elite’ schools to end of February 2026!
They eventually practiced Non-Violent Communication (NVC) which capitalizes on empathy and non-judgmental approach to social competence. The feedback was overwhelming and we look forward to furthering our collaboration with public and private institutions in this area.
On September 12, 2025 Dr Sayuni Philip of University of Dodoma and a consultant at Learning Inspire Tanzania conducted an interactive workshop for over 110 District Council Committee Clerks on Emotional Intelligence.
Participants discussed specific cases relevant to their work, completed personality tests that draw from Attachment Theory that is widely accepted to identify one’s emotional resilience style.
We had a fruitful discussion with teachers at Muungano Usa-River on implementation of Competence-Based Curriculum as the new direction of our education system. We shared our teaching experiences and challenged our practices. Day well spent. @LITanzania@bwaya

Day 3 at FEZA Schools Dodoma: We had an evening dscussion on why kids misbehave and how to unlock the hidden message behind the misbehaviours. We differentiated childhood learning from problem behaviors steming from dysfunctional (unstructured) family relationships.
We also learned how to unlock the hidden messages that kids send as they misbehave. We concluded that empathy, positive regard, predictability and clear boundaries are efficient foundation for parental authority that invites the kid to safely explore and grow as a person.
